Showing We Care for Youth: Without Homes in Our Community: The Mt. Pleasant Mobilizers will describe the Bags for a Better Tomorrow project, a program to provide Listening Ear's Transitional Living Program with Emergency Go-Bags for 20 clients every year.

11:00-12:15 PM:

 Compassion in Complicated Times: Considering the Intersection of Work and Family for 21st Century Caregivers: Presented by Dr. Kathy Miller: Professor at the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication at Arizona State University.

12:30 PM:

Campus that Cares: A showcase of a number of service-oriented RSO’s.

2:00-3:15 PM:

Transforming a Community through HOPE (Helping Our People Excel) and Caring: Reaching Out, Not Out of Reach: Presented by Dr. Helen Miller: Mayor of the historic Town of White Springs and Vice-chair of Florida Leaders Organized for Water (FLOW).

3:30 PM:

Family Caregivers: A Roundtable Discussion: Dr. Pam Gray, Dr. Kathy Miller, Dr. Wendy Papa, and Erin Scheffels will discuss issues relevant to caring for a family member.

This year's summer theatre season takes place from June to June , and will feature the following productions:

    (Appropriate for audiences 12 years old and above)

 

  • The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Noah Smith; based on the novella by Robert Louis Stevenson
    Directed by Tim Connors
    Science Fiction Thriller
    Appropriate for audiences 16 years old and above
 
  • Robert Fulghum’s All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten by Ernest Zulia; music and lyrics by David Caldwell
    Directed by Steve Berglund
    Comedy with Music
    Family friendly production; appropriate for audiences 10 years old and above
