Opportunities for Talent Development (OTD)

M eeting the educational needs of middle and high school students who learn at a pace well ahead of their classmates presents special challenges for school districts and parents. To satisfy these needs, Central Michigan University's Opportunities for Talent Development (OTD) program provides quality educational opportunities through its enrichment mathematics and science classes.

ScienceThe OTD program features the Intermediate Interdisciplinary Science (IIS) courses, which are designed for academically talented students expressly interested in science. 

About the OTD program

Opportunities for Talent Development is a regional mathematics and science program for high-ability students in the Clare/Gladwin, Gratiot/Isabella, Mecosta/Osceola, Midland, and Montcalm intermediate school districts. OTD classes follow the university calendar for holidays and breaks rather than local school district calendars.
