Whether you want to teach students in the classroom or design clothes for the runway, you’ll find exciting programs in EHS.

Cutting-edge facilities and equipment. Many classes take place in the award-winning Education and Human Services Building that provides:

- Mediated classrooms
- Online virtual instructional resources
Other state-of-the-art features include a body scanner, environmental chamber and thermal camera, all which helped apparel design faculty and students to develop uniforms for the National Hockey League.
Student-focused resources. CMU is the only Michigan university offering a residential college program that enables education and human services students to live and study together in a designated residence hall.
International opportunities. The college offers many opportunities to experience the world, from student teaching in Australia to collaborating with interior designers in China and evaluating malnourished children in Ghana.
