The CAD lab contains 28 computer workstations equipped with sophisticated, industry specific software to enable students to develop skills in product design, visualization, promotion and web creation.

Textile Testing Lab 

All of our students complete a sequence of textile courses that include textile product analysis and textile testing utilizing standard ASTM and AATCC test methods in an actual textile testing laboratory.  Recent acquisitions include an Instron tensile tester and spectrophotometer.

Apparel Construction Lab 

The Apparel Construction Lab is utilized by students and faculty for apparel design, patternmaking, construction, fit evaluation, garment quality and construction analysis. Computerized sewing machines, sergers, professional dress forms, and industrial pressing equipment are available for use by our students.
