Program Completion
To complete the program the intern must successfully complete the
prescribed program of learning experiences and meet or exceed
established standards, as defined by the core competency statements.
All Tuition and fees must be paid in full prior to program completion.
A. The prescribed program of learning experiences has been designed to
meet the Standards of Education of the American Dietetic Association and
will be completed in its entirety.
B. The intern will be evaluated at specified intervals as delineated by
Policy and Procedure 500.1, Evaluation of Interns. An acceptable
standard of performance must be achieved.
C. Successful completion of the Central Michigan University Dietetic
Internship will culminate in receipt by the intern of The American
Dietetic Association Verification Statement (6 originals) completed by
the program director.
What is computer matching?
Applicants to the CMUDI must participate in computer matching. Applicants should visit the D&D Digital Systems website (see address below). This request should be made to allow turnaround time for submitting by the postmark deadline. There is a $50 charge for computer matching (payable to D&D Digital Systems) that is due with the applicant's prioritized ranking. The website is:
