Accelerated Option

Undergraduate students majoring in Child Development or Family Studies, on a BA, BAA, or BS Degree, may consider an option whereby they can complete their bachelor's degree and a Master of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies in five years. The program requirements on the Accelerated Masters Degree Program (AMDP) are identical to those of the Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, but allow the student to apply 12 credit hours of graduate coursework toward both their bachelor's degree and their Master of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies.
