The Epson plotter printer is a Stylus Pro 11880, capable of printing custom lengths on various qualities of paper. The Technical Operations plotter printer can print up to 64" width posters (only have 60" paper in stock).  We currently use Epson Photo Luster 260 paper for all of our 24", 44" and 60" width paper rolls. 

This plotter is available to everyone. We charge a total of $4.00 USD per foot for 24", $8.00 USD per foot for 44", and $10.00 USD per foot for 60/64" calculated by the length of the print job. So lets say you print something off that is a 24"x36", we would charge you $4 dollars x 3 Feet = $12.00. Anything over a specific foot will be rounded up to the next foot (i.e. A 24"x27" poster will get charged as if it were a 24"x36").

CMU Departments, Faculty, and Staff are encouraged to use our service for plotter prints since it is a cheaper alternative to off-campus solutions. Prints can be billed directly to departments through charges billed at the end of the semester.

CMU Students, RSOs, and those not affiliated with the university; we ask that you please pay in cash and pay using exact change, unless you have a cost center and an advisers written approval with contact information.

NOTE: Plotter prints have a 48 hour turn-around time. Make sure you give at least 48 hours for prints to be completed before pickup. Make sure that plots have dried for longer than 24 hours before laminating or else smearing will occur. If not laminating, make sure it stays away from a moisture source. Reprints needed that aren't the fault of EHS Tech Ops will be charged full cost. We use a "What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get" policy, so anything submitted to us will be printed AS IS, we do NOT edit images or posters.
