Frank Belsito, D.O., M.M.M.
Frank E. Belsito, D.O., M.M.M., is a family medicine physician and Network Medical Director for Metropolitan Health Corporation, Grand Rapids, Michigan. A graduate of Central Michigan University and Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his post-graduate training at Grand Rapids Osteopathic Hospital (Metropolitan Hospital) in Grand Rapids. He entered active duty in the U.S. Army in 1983 as a Captain in the Medical Corp serving as Officer in Charge of the Fort Sheridan Health Clinic returning to Grand Rapids to begin family practice in 1986. In 1992 he became Regional Medical Director West Michigan for Blue Care Network (BCBS) and in 1994 lead initiatives and helped create the Metro Health PHO. In l998 he earned a Masters in Medical Management from Tulane University.
Dr. Belsito has served as Board member and past President of the Michigan Association of Osteopathic Family Physicians, past President of the Kent County Osteopathic Medical Association and is a past Alumni Board of Governors member for Mid Western University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine; Associate Adjunct Professor, Central Michigan University, College of Business, College of Extended Learning; and Clinical Assistant Professor, Family Medicine, Grand Valley State University, Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner Program.
