All information in the medical record, including information about billing is confidential. Except as required or permitted by law, it will not be released to anyone without the patent's authorization. A Notice of Privacy and Practice Policy (NPP) form is offered to each patient at their first visit. It also tells you how to file a complaint, in case you have an issue. The NPP outlines your rights and our responsibilities, in regards to maintaining your privacy.
