Carls Center for Clinical Care and Education is a specialized rehabilitation center of excellence, located in the modern Health Professions Building on the beautiful campus of Central Michigan University.
The Center offers state-of-the-art diagnostics, rehabilitation and education services in the fields of Audiology, Physical Therapy, Psychology and Speech-Language Pathology. Other medical and health disciplines, provided by the Physician Assistant program, Dietetics and Gerontology complement these core services as needed, so that individualized patient-centered care is provided.
We take great pride in serving a wide range of specialized clinical and rehabilitation needs for persons from infancy through adulthood. Here is a list of some of the many services and programs operated through the Carls Center:
Speech-Language and Audiology Clinics
Physical Therapy
Psychology - Individual, couple, family and group mental and behavioral health counseling offered to the public using a sliding fee scale based on annual income and number of dependents.
Specialty Interdisciplinary Programs
The Carls Center supports the integration of skills, expertise and services offered by the university with community health care resources. It also provides real-world experiences for students pursuing careers in the health professions.
