Dr. Knapp joined Central Michigan University in 2007 as Medical Director and Associate Professor of the Physician Assistant Program. She is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and completed her residency at Michigan State University. Dr. Knapp serves as Director and physician in the Emergency Department at Gratiot Medical Center, as emergency department physician at Saint Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital, and as an employee of Emergency Physician Medical Group. Previously, she served as emergency department physician at McLaren Regional Hospital, emergency department Director and physician at Clinton Memorial Hospital, and faculty and emergency department physician at Sparrow Hospital and Genesys Regional Medical Center. Dr. Knapp also has spent more than 11 years as a teacher for schools in Michigan and Grand Cayman, British West Indies.
