BS in Dietetics, Michigan State University Professor Sherer began her career at Central Michigan University in January 2008 as an Assistant Professor in the Physician Assistant Program. Professor Sherer was awarded a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center; Physician Assistant Graduate Certificate with a surgical focus from Weill Medical College of Cornell University; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from Michigan State University. She also has completed a Dietetic internship at Central Michigan University.
Professor Sherer currently serves as a Physician Assistant for the Emergency Medicine Physicians Group in Gladwin, Michigan, and previously served as Adjunct Faculty for Weill Medical College Physician Assistant Program at Cornell University and as a Physician Assistant for the Surgical Intensive Care/StepDown Unit at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City.
Professor Sherer is a member of the American Association of Surgical Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the New York State Society of Physician Assistants.
