As a community health professional, you will inform and motivate people to lead healthy lifestyles.  With the knowledge that the way we live affects our health, well-being, and longevity.  Americans have an increased interest in practicing healthier lifestyles to improve their quality of life.

Note:  There is a considerable overlap of health content courses with the present major in Community Health Education.  For this reason, students with a Community Health Education Major will be encouraged through advisement to select a minor from another discipline to broaden their knowledge and competencies.
