ACCREDITATION STATEMENT

The CMU Program in Physical Therapy has been reviewed and approved by the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.In addition, the program received accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) in May 1997 and received approval for re-accreditation for 10 years by CAPTE in 2002.The next accreditation review is due in Summer 2012.

If any individual has a complaint concerning a possible violation of accreditation standards for the physical therapy program, they should submit a signed complaint in writing to the Director of Accreditation at the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), 1111 North Fairfax Street, Arlington, Virginia 22314.Instructions for filing a complaint on line can be found at the APTA Accreditation web site.
