Education

MD, University of Michigan Dr. Howell joined the Physician Assistant Program's Adjunct Faculty team in 2006. He is certified by the American Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Oncology, and the America Board of Hospice and Palliative Care. He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science and the Arts.

Dr. Howell completed a Residency in the Department of Radiation Therapy at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia.

Employment

Dr. Howell is a physician and Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Michigan Medical School. He has held numerous positions in universities throughout the United States teaching Radiation Oncology.
