Dr. John Kaminski has served as Adjunct Faculty with Central Michigan University's Physician Assistant Program since September 2000. Dr. Kaminski received his Doctorate of Optometry concurrently with a gerontology graduate certificate from Ohio State University in 1999. Dr. Kaminski's special interests include low vision rehabilitation and geriatric optometry. He has co-authored multiple research studies, lectures nationally on gerontology/aging topics, and provides continuing medical education classes and workshops for hospital staff, professional associations, nursing facility staff, and the commission on aging in Mt. Pleasant and Midland, Michigan.

Dr. Kaminski currently is employed with Mid-Michigan Eye Care in Midland, Michigan.
