Originally from Upstate New York​, Danielle completed her B.A. in English and Philosophy at St. John Fisher College. She did her graduate work at Syracuse University, earning an M.A. in linguistics/TESOL and an M.A. in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture. She also holds a post-baccalaureate TESOL certificate from Columbia University.

Prior to joining the ELI faculty, Danielle held a variety of positions in higher education: working as an administrator, instructor, and tutor. She has taught college-level courses in Spanish, English, ESL, and Learning Success. When not busy teaching, Danielle enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband and two sons.​​​​​​
