Application deadline for the 2013-2014 school year is February 1, 2013.
Eligible Students: For M.A. candidates in English Language & Literature, Composition & Communication, TESOL, Children's Literature concentration and the Creative Writing Option.
Stipend: At least $10,000 for the first year. Position renewable for the second year. Twenty credit hours of tuition waiver per year and most fees.
Assignment: Teaching two classes of composition or 20 hours of work in the Writing Center or the TESOL program. Six hours of graduate course work.
Applications: Applicants must have secured regular admission to both the Graduate College and to an M.A. program in English to be considered for a graduate assistantship in English. Applications for admission to the Graduate College and for the Assistantship may be submitted at the same time.
