Beginning now until December 16^th, 2011, the Sable Point Lighthouse Keepers Association will be accepting applications for new interns for the upcoming 2012 summer season. Site Coordinators are needed for the Ludington North Breakwater Light in Ludington,Big Sable Point Lighthouse in Ludington State Park and Little Sable Point Lighthouse in Silver Lake State Park.   This internship is open to CMU students in the schools of Museum Studies, History, Arts and Culture and will be based in one of three lighthouses owned by the Association. Students can expect to guide tours, staff the gift shops and assist with many day-to-day functions within the museums. This position offers a stipend of $1,500 for the summer and on-site housing is available. The schedule is flexible and offers 17-20 hours a week.
