The Software Engineering and Information Technology Institute (SEITI) is
an international cooperative research and development organization
involving partnerships between Central Michigan University and
industrial, academic and governmental organizations involved in the
information technology field.

Mission
The Institute's mission is to conduct basic and applied research,
industrially-relevant research and development, and to reduce the time
for university research results to reach the marketplace. Research is
focused in the fields of software engineering and information
technology.
Industry Connections
SEITI provides guidance, expertise, technical services and excellent
computing facilities to researchers. To facilitate the timely flow of
current research developments into the market, the Institute helps
connect industry needs to appropriate researchers and sponsors
conferences, workshops, short courses and tutorials.
