Although the MWRC offers a mail-in service, this is not recommended for the study of lakes, as some of the water samples need to be "fixed in the field" to prevent change in the components to be  measured and others are measured by instruments.

If after consulting the section of packages in the cost schedule, a suitable package is not found, one can be specifically designed for the client.

A combination of services (i.e., drinking water assessment in conjunction with lake assessment) can be designed for groups such as lake association that have members who wish to have their home well water tested at the same time. All of the assays listed in the drinking water assessment section will be included. Please inquire for special prices.

Packages do not include labor for collection of the samples, travel, boat use or on-site consultations.
