Another package offered by the Michigan Water Research Center is for the study of streams. Included in the package are the measurements of:

• Stream flow
• Depth
• Temperature
• pH/alkalinity
• Dissolved oxygen
• Conductivity
• Turbidity
• Total phosphate
• Total dissolved phosphate
• Ammonium
• Nitrate/nitrite
• Chlorophyll a

As in the lakes studies, a mail-in service in offered, but it is not recommended, as the client does not have the instruments or the chemicals  to measure all of the elements.
