Martin Steinbis, ’75, flies in from Houston a couple of times a year to meet with geology students and faculty.
In addition to mentoring students, Martin has served on the College of Science and Technology Alumni Board, and he leads the CST Capital Campaign Committee as chairman.
Martin served a 23-year career with Amoco Production Co., most recently as senior staff geologist. He currently is self-employed in commercial real estate management.
In addition to his volunteer support of the university, he also has given donations to the geology department, the Thomas Knapp Field Camp Scholarship, and the Wayne Moore Field Trip Endowment.
