For non-native speakers of English, this course includes all basic skill areas
of English as a Second Language: grammar, writing, reading, and conversation,
but focuses primarily on speaking/listening. CR/NC only.
LAR 145 Racism and Diversity in America 3(3-0)
Interdisciplinary course examines historical and economic causes of racism and
ways of achieving a just society. (IV-C)
