The Mount Pleasant area offers a variety of child care resources. The Human Growth and Development Laboratory, through the Department of Human Environmental Studies, offers several half day preschool options including a Preschool Program, School Readiness Program, and Pre-Primary Impaired Program. The Student Employment Office assists in finding qualified students for at-home child care. The Housing and Dining Services Office, located in the Bovee University Center, as well as the Human Growth and Development Laboratory, provides a list of students each semester who are interested in providing child care.
