Studies Minor

This
24 credit hour minor, when matched with an appropriate
academic major, is designed to give students the necessary
background to pursue careers in the museum field. In
addition to traditional museums, the field includes
facilities like art galleries, botanical gardens, planetaria,
zoos, aquaria, nature centers, parks, monuments, archives,
corporate collections, and historical societies, sites and
houses.
Students are strongly encouraged to work closely with their
academic advisor throughout their academic career. No
courses with a grade lower than C- can be counted towards
the minor.
