DEER Center
Central Michigan University's Driving Evaluation, Education and Reseach (D.E.E.R.) Program provides clinical services for evaluating cognitive fitness to drive, education and community referrals for improving driver safety.
The program typically takes about four (4) hours and is divided into the following sessions:
I. Intake Processing and Medical History
II. Clinical Screening
III. Driving Simulation
IV. Education and Referral Coordination
V. Driving Re-evaluation, if indicated
Following completion of evaluations, detailed reports are issued to referring physicians and clients are provided education and community referrals as needed (along with video copies of their driving simulation experience on CDs).

The Department of Psychology at Central Michigan University is seeking adults for a study on attention and simulated driving.
To participate, you must have a valid Michigan driver's license and have your own transportation.
The experiment requires two one and a half hour sessions, and you will be paid $15.00 per hour for your participation.
