CMU PA Student Society

The Future Physician Assistants Society at CMU is a member of the Student Academy of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (SAAAPA), and is a CMU Registered Student Organization. The society was established by CMU PA students in order to promote academic achievement, clinical excellence, and promote PAs a valued member of the health care delivery team. Society activities include community outreach, events to promote public awareness of PAs, and involvement in the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). Membership is open to all CMU PA students.

The society elects an executive board for each graduating class. The board consists of a class president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, MAPA representative, social coordinator, historian, volunteer coordinator, faculty liaison, dean liaison, and diversity chair.
