Central Michigan University and Central Michigan Community Hospital's Wellness Central Fitness support a one-year weight loss program that incorporates sound nutrition with exercise. Classes meet regularly on Tuesdays, starting in January of each year. The program includes a three-phase meal plan based on a diabetic exchange list, exercise guidelines, cholesterol screenings, group meetings, weigh-ins, and fitness monitoring (using for instance, a pedometer).

• Location: CMU's College of Health Professions (located on East Campus Drive by Preston) - 2nd floor, room 2150

• Cost = $325; however, participants can earn up to $75 back based on meeting attendance and participation requirements.
