Committees
College Curriculum Committee
- Review all curricular requests from departments
- Serve as primary hearing body for objections within the college
- Forward approved curricular items to appropriate university committee
- Review all proposals for new academic programs in college, prior to submission to the Academic Planning Council, and provide recommendations to Dean
- Members serve as curricular liaisons to departments and should keep their home departments apprized of curricular matters

Dean's Advisory Council (DAC)
- Serve as a link between Dean's Office and departments in the exchange of information and perspectives.
- Provide advice and recommendations to the dean on a variety of issues and policies affecting the college and it's departments.
- Assist in developing fund raising plan for college and for its implementation.
- Sub-committee assists in evaluation of sabbatical requests.
- Other as needed
Excellence in Teaching & Academic Programs
- To encourage excellence in teaching within the college's departments. The committee might sponsor seminars, hold discussion forums, encourage efforts within departments, etc.
- To review the assessment activities conducted by college departments and to share strategies and suggestions for conducting and utilizing assessment efforts
Promotion & Tenure Committee
- Review promotion and tenure applications
- Make recommendations to dean
