Military Appreciation Night

On November 19th, 2008 the Central Michigan Battalion hosted the Michigan Army National Guard and the 1/125th Infantry Battalion at the CMU vs Ball State football game. The 1/125th was deployed in Iraq, and the soldiers whose families and friends were in the Mount Pleasant were able to send personal messages via the Jumbotron. At the halftime ceremony 60 new recruits were sworn into the Army National Guard. Senior Cadets escorted high profile leaders throughout the game. Although Central Michigan did not win the game, the school showed its support of deployed soldiers everywhere.
