December 2008 Commissioning
On December 13 2008, ROTC commissioned three new lieutenants into the ranks the Army. Lt. Lundquist, Lt. McCarthy, and Lt. Conger were pinned their gold bars in front of a gathering of friends and family. Channel 5 news also attended. Lt. Lundquist branched Aviation and is currently at Ft. Ruckers in Alabama. Lt. Conger swore into the Medical Services branch and is currently operating as a Gold Bar Recruiter in the Chippewa Battalion. Lt. McCarthy, who was sworn in by her husband via telephone from Iraq, joined the Corps of Engineers. The next commissioning ceremony will be held in May.
