Aaron E. Kalloch
LTC Aaron E. Kalloch, US Army, arrives at CMU as the Professor and Chair of the Military Science Department. He spent the last five years in the 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood, Texas where he served as a Brigade Logistics Officer, Infantry Battalion Operations Officer, Brigade Executive Officer, Division Chief of Training, Division Rear Operations Officer, and Division Chief of Operations. During that time he twice served in Operation Iraqi Freedom, March 2004 – March 2005 and July 2006 – June 2007. Previously he served as an Assistant Professor and Director of the Military Art and Science Program at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY from 2000-2003. He served in the 101st Airborne Division from 1995-1998 as a Joint Task Force Planning Officer in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and as a Commander of a Heavy Weapons Infantry Company. His spent his assignment in Germany from 1991-1994 serving as a Mechanized Infantry Platoon Leader, Battalion Logistics Officer, and Battalion Maintenance Officer. LTC Kalloch holds a B.S in Military History from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, a M.A. in National Security Affairs and Strategic Planning from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, and is also a graduate of the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, KS. His Awards and Decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Air Assault Badge, Parachute Badge, Expert Infantryman’s Badge, Combat Infantryman’s Badge and the Ranger Tab.

Clifford A. Ellis
SFC Clifford A. Ellis is a native of New York City, New York and entered the Army on 26 June 1990. He attended Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Sergeant First Class Ellis’ overseas assignments include tours in Germany, Republic of Korea and two tours in Iraq. His stateside assignments include the Fort Sill, on which he served in three Battalions to include 5th BN, 17th FA, 3rd BN, 18th FA and 1st BN, 17th FA. His deployments was with Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion, 17th Field Artillery in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF I and IV).
Mary Brewer
Mary was born in Roslyn, Pennsylvania. When she was 13 she moved with her family to Parchment, Michigan, and graduated from Parchment High School in 1983.
Mary is married to SFC (Retired) Michael R. Brewer. They have two children, Andrew 24 and Sara 22.
As a career military spouse, Mary has traveled to many different places and served in a number of different positions. Her civil service career began in 1989 as a Budget Assistant for the Department of Engineering and Housing, New York Area Command Budget Office, Ft. Dix, NJ until June of 1990. She then received a promotion and transferred to the Walson Army Community Hospital and served as a Budget Clerk until May 1991. She then moved to Hawaii in June 1991 and worked as a Secretary for the Department of Pediatrics, Tripler Army Medical Center, working in both the Administration office as well as the Department of Neonatology. She then transferred to Schofield Barracks and worked as a secretary for Veterinary Services until June 1995. After moving to Mt. Pleasant, MI in the summer of 1995, she began the duties of Human Resource Technician at Central Michigan University Army ROTC Program.
She is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Entrepreneurship and a minor in Business Administration. Her hobbies include maintaining a small hobby farm with her husband and making various types of crafts.
Her civil services awards include a Commanders Award for Civil Service, Achievement Medal for Civilian Service, Special Act/Service Awards, various on-the-spot cash awards, and quality step increases.
Rodney "Will" Williams
1LT Williams is the Recruiting Operations Officer since November 2007. He is a graduate of Strayer University and received his MBA in Management. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis and received his BS in Computer Engineering Technology. During his career he has served over 15 years as a Chemical Dragon in numerous positions which include service as a Chemical Operation Specialist at Ft. Campbell, KY, a Squad Leader for 398th Chemical Company dual purpose light, and 3rd Platoon Leader for the 326th Chemical Company (BIDS) located in Millington, TN. He is a graduate of the Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Basic Officer Leadership Course, Advance Officer Leadership Course, Biological Integration Detection Systems, Radiological Safety Course, Air Assault, and CBRN Captains Career Course. He is married with two girls and a junior.
Kim M. Bailey
Kim Bailey began working in the Military Science Department Office on August 1, 2007. She has worked in various offices at CMU since 1989.
Ryan M. Finley
CPT Ryan Finley comes to the Military Science Department from Waynesville, NC. He entered the Army in 1991 as an enlisted Aerial Scout/ Observer. He served in the 82nd Abn Div, 3rd ACR, and NCARNG before graduating from Western Carolina University with Degrees in Economics and Finance. He also holds a Masters in Management from Webster University. Commissioned through OCS, CPT Finley deployed to Iraq with the 4ID, 3BCT during OIF1 as a howitzer Platoon Leader and Battalion Fire Support Officer. CPT Finley has also deployed to Panama, Kuwait, and Korea. He is married to the former Laurie Brown of Texas. They have four son’s: Nathan, 13; Brandon, 11; Ian, 9; and Logan, 5.
Tierney A. Williams
1LT Tierney A. Williams entered the Army in 1995. She has held the positions of Squad Leader 398th CM (1997), Platoon Leader 655th TC (2005), BN S1 Officer 342nd QM (2005) and Executive Officer 3-398th BCT (2007). She has a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and Sociology. She has a Graduate degree in Educational Leadership and has a Certification in Substance Abuse. Here at Central Michigan University ROTC Dept, 1LT Williams is responsible for enhancing the soldier readiness of Cadets by instructing, recruiting, training, motivating, retaining, evaluating and accessing quality First Lieutenants. She is also our S1 Officer, responsible for personnel issues of Cadre members. 1LT Williams resides in Mt. Pleasant with her family.
Larry Wilcox
Larry Wilcox is the Supply Technician for Central Michigan University’s Army ROTC Program. He assumed this position on 2 MAY 2005. He retired from active duty after 23 years in the U.S. Air Force where he worked in Aircraft Maintenance. He retired as a First Sergeant (E-8) on 1 JUN 1997. He is a veteran of Desert Shield/Storm, Operation Southern Watch, and several tours of duty in the Middle East.
MAJ Humes
MAJ William Humes enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1989 and graduated in 1993 from Michigan Technological University with a degree in mathematics and was commissioned in the Field Artillery branch. On active duty he has served in Korea and Ft. Benning as a fire support officer. In the National Guard he has served as FSO, FDO, battery commander, S1, company commander and battalion fire effects coordinator. He has been working with ROTC for the last 6 years, minus a 1 year deployment to Camp Ramadi, Iraq. His current assignment is the operations officer and MS III Instructor and resides with his wife, Dr. Wendy King, in Perry, Michigan.
