Upcoming Readings

Thursday, April 7th, 8 p.m., come out to the Baber Room in the Park Library to hear poets Jeffrey Skinner and Sarah Gorham read from their works. Sarah Gorham is the author of four books of poetry, including, most recently, The Cure (Four Way Books); Jeffrey Skinner is the author of five books of poetry, including, most recently, Salt Water Amnesia (Ausable Press). They are co-founders of Sarabande Books, a highly regarded small press publishing poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. The reading is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.

Also on Thursday, April 7th, in Pearce 138, Skinner and Gorham will give a presentation and hold a Q & A on literary publishing.

he Department also hosts undergraduate and graduate readings during the year, including a reading by contributors to the university literary magazines, Central Review and Temenos.
