Every year, a new class of LAS moves their belongings into the beloved home of Barnes Hall. As the time passes they begin to meet more and more of their fellow LASers. After a few weeks, they have the chance to meet other LAS students at the LAS picnic. The LAS picnic is a tradition that has been carried on throughout the years. At Island Park in the evening of Sept. 10, the tradition continued. “The picnic committee worked very hard these past couple of weeks to make the event a huge success,” said Kyle Post, LAS sophomore. Island Park they began to play the classic game “All of My Friends.” This was a great opportunity for people who have never met to find similarities. “That game is one of my favorites! It is so much fun running around to other shoes! Anytime anyone wants to play, let me know, I’d love to play again!” exclaimed LAS sophomore Amber Sala. As the underclassman played that fantastic game, the upper classman began to arrive. There were more upper classman at this picnic than ever before in the history of LAS picnics. As a whole, the event was successful with smiles to go around for everyone.
