LEADERSHIP FACILITIES The CMU Leadership Institute is located in Powers Hall. When it opened in 1939 Powers Hall was known to Central students as Keeler Union, and was also the first men's dormitory on campus. The Leadership Institute's main office is located in 130, adjacent to the office is the Leadership Conference Room and the Leadership Resource Center.

Central Michigan University
students now have the opportunity to use the 32 foot indoor rock-climbing
wall and high ropes course for fitness activities, recreation, or to
develop leadership skills. The Leadership Institute utilizes these
facilities for activities in the LEAD program and also when conducting
training sessions for Registered Student Organizations or community and
business partners.
