"Signing a major" refers to the process in which you meet with your faculty advisor and sign the Authorization for Major Form for your intended major before earning 56 credits. At that time, you should ask your faculty advisor about major requirements and the timing of your courses. If you later decide to change your major, contact the new department to sign your new major.
