Faculty
at CMU find several programs to support their ongoing academic
endeavors. Some of these include: research excellence funds,
curriculum and instructional and faculty development grants,
university research professorship awards, and faculty research
and creative endeavors awards.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs encourages
faculty and staff to engage in research and creative endeavors and
helps faculty and staff secure internal and external support for
research, academic programs and projects.

Park Library offers an on-campus
site to obtain research materials. The library has more than
800,000 books, periodicals, documents and newspapers. The
library offers a variety of on-line computer databases, a
computer room with full Internet access, inter-library loan
service and library instructional support services for faculty
and staff.
