CMUMEDIA subscriber options
Welcome to the CMUMEDIA e-mail list, an electronic resource
for media professionals to easily access news and events
from Central Michigan University. Whether you are a previous
recipient of news items from CMU or a new subscriber,
welcome!
This list is highly customized, with options for CMUMEDIA
subscribers to receive only subject-specific messages
(including business, health, science, events and more) or
all messages once per week in a digest form. You may already
be subscribed to particular topics based on the subject
areas in which you have previously indicated an interest.
If you would like to edit your subscription options online,
please visit
https://listserv.cmich.edu/cgi-bin/wa.exe?LMGT1
and sign up for an account using the e-mail address to which
you are subscribed on CMUMEDIA and a password of your
choice. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail.
Once you are signed up and logged in, you may explore your
subscription options at
https://listserv.cmich.edu/cgi-bin/wa.exe?LMGT1
by clicking on “Subscribers corner” in the left margin of
the screen. From here, you may set up a digest or choose
different topics.
Here is a brief explanation of the subscription options of
primary importance to subscribers:
Subscription type:
• “Regular” means you will receive news items immediately as
they are sent out.
• Those who wish to receive all news items once per week
should select “Digest (traditional).” Choosing this option
will subscribe you to ALL topics, and you will receive a
digest every Wednesday.
• Please ignore the “Index” options.
