CMU photography is unparalleled among universities of our size. It tells CMU’s story in color and human engagement, covering students and faculty at work in classrooms and laboratories, CMU events, campus scenery and buildings, NCAA Division I Athletics competitions, and much more.
Our photographers know the university intimately, having decades of experience documenting the life of CMU and its people. Their award-winning photography appears in CMU publications and Web sites and hangs in many locations across campus.
Public relations and marketing primarily provides high-quality digital photography in support of CMU’s most important communications to prospective students, alumni, donors, civic leaders, and other key constituencies.
Although photography services are prioritized based on the scope and role photographs play in the university’s mission and vision, we do our best to make sure that all PRM clients are provided with photography to fulfill their communications needs.
