Kelli caught a lot of flack from folks back home in Ohio when she moved “to that state up north” with her husband, Scott Rex (assistant CMU sports information director), but she is now proud to call CMU home.
Her professional experience ranges from working for an educational publishing house to an international cheerleading company. At CMU she is responsible for providing writing support and research to President Michael Rao.
“I’m grateful for the valuable professional experience I get from working with senior officers, the president’s office and the development office,” she says.
In her spare time, Kelli loves playing with her adorable pug, Brutus (aptly named for the Ohio State mascot), going to CMU football games and watching old Gene Kelly musicals. She also has a strange obsession with IHOP
and Bon Jovi. Cut her some slack – she’s from Ohio.
