Mark is a bicyclist, a skier, a musician, a father, a grandfather, a gardener, among many other roles. In public relations and marketing,
he is the director of publications - a job that requires him to control the work traffic between clients and creative staff members.
And speaking of traffic, Mark spends a lot of time in it every week commuting from his home in McBain (near Cadillac) to Mount Pleasant - that's about
two hours each day!
When he's not "8-to-5-in it," or "drivin' it," he's "Wing'n It" with his folk/rock band at McGuire's Resort in Cadillac.
"Almost everyone who works at Central Michigan University belongs here," he says. "We share a common love for the institution and working together.
The level of competence and dedication is unusual, and the sense of shared vision is inspirational."
