The mission of Student Disability Services is to assist in the creation and maintenance of a community environment where a disability is neutral; a community where services are integrated throughout the university; a community where students with disabilities have an equal opportunity to fully participate. Student Disability Services cooperates through partnerships with students, faculty, and staff to promote individual student's independence, academic success and career goals.
Student Disability Services assists students with both permanent disabilities as well as those with temporary impairments. Students are encouraged to contact Student Disability Services upon matriculation to Central Michigan University.
