Parking at CMU

All cars parking on the campus of Central Michigan University must be registered with the CMU Police Department.

The only exceptions are metered lots and special pre-arranged group parking. As a student, you are welcome to bring a vehicle to campus. All current students and incoming freshmen are encouraged to pre-register their vehicles via the web.

This online registration is being used to replace the student mail registration. All faculty and staff members will be mailed vehicle registration forms during the summer. Visitors also must have their vehicles registered with the CMU Police Department.

The CMU Police Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to issue temporary and visitor permits.
