Science, Engineering and Technology Day is your opportunity to discover the distinguished programs offered by the College of Science and Technology.

In addition to exploring CMU’s state-of-the-art facilities, you will network with students who share your academic interests and meet faculty members and student services representatives. You also will be invited to have lunch in a residential restaurant, tour our park-like campus, and have the opportunity to participate in an Admissions presentation.

Showcase and building tour sessions

The showcase is an introduction highlighting CMU’s:

• Placement of our recent graduates
• Our many career-oriented academic programs
• Cutting-edge laboratory facilities and unique opportunity for field study
• Hands-on learning opportunities through undergraduate research with faculty
• College of Science and Technology’s Residential College

Showcase and lab exploration sessions begin in Dow Science Complex 102 at:

Campus tours

CMU student ambassadors will escort you on walking tour. Tours depart from the Dow Science Complex lobby at:
11:15 a.m.
12:30 p.m.

Tours depart from the Towers lobby outside of the Carey Residential Restaurant at:
2 p.m.
3:15 p.m.

Lunch

All Science, Engineering and Technology Day participants are invited to a complimentary meal in the Carey Residential Restaurant from 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Admissions presentations

Learn about CMU’s admission process and requirements. Presentations (lasting approximately 30 minutes) are in Kulhavi Hall 141/142 at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
