What Everyone Needs to Know

Help Desk

The OIT Help Desk is CMU's front line for technology support to the on and off-campus students, faculty, and staff University wide, 7 days a week. Whenever you have a computer or telecommunications related problem, you can ask Help Desk.

Global ID

Your CMU Global ID allows you to access services such as the CMU Portal, CMU email and wireless Internet access.  If you don't already know your password, click here to obtain your password and activate your account.

CMU Portal

The CMU Portal is an internal portal or intranet that allows CMU students, faculty and staff quicker access to the type of information that relates directly to their needs. It is the cyber point of entry to information and online services at CMU. Whether it is campus events, news releases, links to favorite websites or student account and billing or course registration – it is all in the CMU Portal – and more features and customization options are being added all the time!  Click here to log in with your Global ID and password!
