CMU and You Day is your opportunity to:

• Meet with academic department representatives and find out how they are committed to your success
• Talk with advisors and find the best program for you
• Tour CMU’s beautiful campus and modern facilities, including the Park Library, Student Activity Center, Health Professions Building, new Education and Human Services Building and a residence hall
• Explore involvement opportunities with the more than 250 campus clubs and organizations
• Learn about financial aid and scholarship opportunities that will help make college more affordable for you
• Enjoy lunch as CMU’s guest in a residential restaurant
• Apply for admission to CMU and learn the status of your application within 48 hours
• Attend the CMU football game against Northern Illinois University and cheer on the Chippewas to victory

Meet with the experts

Academic departments
9 a.m. to noon

Representatives from CMU's academic departments will answer your questions about the academic programs you're interested in.

Academic presentations
10 and 11 a.m.

Individual 45-minute presentations or college facility tours highlighting the Business Administration, Communication and Fine Arts, Health Professions, Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences, Science and Technology, and Teacher Education programs.

Student support services
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Meet representatives from many of CMU’s student support services —such as Residence Life, the Leadership Institute, Study Abroad, Student Life, etc.— and see what is available to help you get the most of your experiences as a CMU student.

Informational sessions

University overview
11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m.

Information presented on Admissions, Residence Life, Career Services, Honors Program, and Leadership Development.

Scholarships and Financial Aid
11 a.m. and noon

Learn more about how to apply for financial aid and scholarship opportunities available to you.

Campus tours

Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

CMU campus ambassadors will escort you on a 90-minute walking tour of our scenic campus.

Central Express

Optional program begins at 9 a.m.

Your opportunity to apply for admission to CMU and discover your admission status within 48 hours. You must be a high school senior to participate.

CMU Athletics

CMU Field Hockey vs. Missouri State
3:30 p.m.

Experience championship athletics at its finest as the CMU Women's Field Hockey team takes on Missouri State at noon. This is a FREE event for all fans interested in cheering on their Chippewa Athletes. Game takes place at the Field Hockey complex located behind the Bennett Track & Field facility.

CMU Football vs. Northern Illinois University
3:30 p.m.

Joins thousands of CMU Football fans in Kelly/Shorts Stadium for a Mid-American Conference game against Northern Illinois. Prospective students receive vouchers for up to three tickets and additional tickets may be purchased at the Northeast Stadium Box Office.
