The CMU Promise General Information
The CMU Promise was a tuition guarantee plan that CMU offered to undergraduate students enrolled at CMU from fall 2005 though summer 2008.
The Board of Trustees voted not to extend The CMU Promise to future incoming classes of students due to financial considerations.
Though new students are not eligible for The CMU Promise, they can still expect to receive one of Michigan's best educational values at CMU. For more information on costs for new students, please see this site.
Rates for students who will still receive the guaranteed tuition rate, which were set at the start of their enrollment for up to five years from when they began taking classes, can be found here.
Students who still receive the guaranteed tuition rate can access more information using the student portal.
