You've probably heard about the ongoing discussions regarding the CMU school of medicine. This Web site was designed to keep faculty, staff, students, and community members updated with the latest information.

After a lengthy investigation period including numerous feasibility studies, the CMU Board of Trustees and administration have determined that the university is in a unique position to build upon a strong foundation of excellent academic programs and community partnerships through the creation of a school of medicine.

Together with the greater community, CMU can be proactive in addressing the future shortage of physicians in Michigan and serve the health needs of the rural communities of central and northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
