Study Abroad Information Session
Monday, January 30, 1:00-2:00 PM in Ronan 344
Come to the information session and learn more about studying abroad in the following locations:
Macerata, Italy
Segovia, Spain
Shanghai, China
Vienna, Austria
Ireland
Information will also be provided about scholarship opportunities and the courses available in Art, History, Political Science, Psychology, Music, Business, Spanish, Broadcast and Cinematic Arts, and more! Both summer and semester programs are available. It's not too late to apply for summer or fall 2012!
Study Abroad Information Session
Wednesday, February 1, 1:30-3:00 PM in Ronan 344
Come to an information session and learn more about studying abroad in Australia, New Zealand, and China! Information will also be provided about internships abroad. The information session times are listed below:

Passport Fair
Wednesday, February 15, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm in the Bovee UC Isabella Room
The Office of Study Abroad Programs will host a Passport Fair on Wednesday, February 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Bovee University Center Isabella Room. The staff from the Isabella County Register of Deeds Office will be present to accept passport applications; total cost is $135 ($110 check/money order to the U.S. Department of State and a $25 check/money order to the Isabella County Clerk). Passport photos may be obtained at this Fair for $12. For more information and document requirements, please visit http://travel.state.gov/passport.
Study Abroad Scholarship Essay Writing Workshops
Getting Started (Workshop #1)
When: Tuesday, February 14 - 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Or
Wednesday, February 15 - 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Where: Anspach Writing Center, AN 003
Explore your strengths, brainstorm ideas, and get a head start on writing your essay for study abroad scholarship applications. This workshop will review expectations, share tips and starting points, begin writing, and allow some time for questions and specific input at the end. Come, enjoy, and leave with a working draft of your application.
Final Touches (Workshop #2)
When: Tuesday, February 21 - 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Where: Library Writing Center, Park 400
An extra set of eyes and ears can make all the difference. The CMU Writing Center will be available to help you revise, edit, and polish your study abroad scholarship applications. In this session, participants will review their essays, pose questions, receive feedback, and leave with a finished or nearly finished and polished application. Be sure to bring a draft of your application.
